10th meeting

1. Cite one experience wherein you have experienced negative peer pressure.
- my barkada dont want to attend classes , also take cigarrettes and alcoholic drinks.
2. How did you react to it? Why?
- of course i said no, i didnt take it because i know its bad for our health.
3. How did you feel about your reaction/decision?
- i feel better because they respect my decision.
4. What have you learned/realized from your experience?
- i've learned that its hard to make a decision in front of persons pressuring you. because you dont know what will be their reactions.

9th meeting

1. How do you describe a responsible person?
- a responsible person, is a person who can do well all his/her responsibilities in home, school, and community.
2. What are your responsibilities a) at home, b) in school c) in your community?
a) i must help my parents in the household chores.
b) i must study hard and do my homeworks and perform well in school.
c) i must help others to make my community good.

8th meeting

a. What challenge did you take?
- to balance my time to all of my friends.
b. Were you able to do the challenge? How do you feel about it?
- a little only, because its really hard to divide your time to all of your friends. i feel a little bit sad because my other friends are saying that i cannot manage my time properly.
c. What have you realized/learned from your experience?
- i should spend my time equally to all my friends.

2. Assignment for next meeting
a. Read about the effects of smoking.
b. Watch the film “An Inconvenient Truth”, staring Al Gore and directed by Davis Guggenheim. On the journal, write your reaction to the movie:
- The most striking scene in the movie
- Your feelings and emotions while watching the movie
- Your realization after watching the movie
- The specific actions you can commit to take care of the environment

4th meeting

1. Looking back at the list of your positive characteristics and qualities, what do you feel and realize about it?
- i feel happy and i realize that it can help me and other people.
2. The Golden Rule says “Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.”
a. Given the following situations, how would you like to be treated by your teachers and schoolmates:
- when you have given wrong answers to the questions during recitation,
: i want them to teach me the correct answer whenever my answers are incorrect.
- when you are expressing your opinion during class or group discussion;
: i want them to respect me when i am speaking and listen to my answer.
- when you are giving suggestions during group work or presentation;
: i want them to appreciate my efforts in helping in the group works or presentation.
- when you commit mistake;
: i want them to accept my apology.
- when you don’t like doing what they ask you to do and
- when they want to give you their comments or suggestions?
: i want their comments whenever there is something wrong with me.

b. Considering the given ideas on how to treat others with respect, what can you commit to yourself in terms dealing with the MCL community: teachers, students, employees, security,
- i must show full respect to others so they will give me their full respect too.
